Christopher Greene is an Associate Research Scholar at Yale Law School, Justice Collaboratory. His research uses experimental methods to examine the impacts AI integration may have on legal decision-making, and what institutions can do to sustain trust as those systems take hold.
His doctoral work at Trinity College Dublin tested trust in AI-assisted judicial decisions. This work also anchors "It's All About Respect", a forthcoming publication by Cambridge University Press in the Cambridge Forum on AI: Law and Governance, with Brian M. Barry and Marius Claudy.
At Yale his work examines AI and legal decision-making at every level of the system, from policing through the courts to prisons. His research has also reached policy audiences in Ireland, including talks at a Department of Justice conference on the use of data and AI in criminal justice and at the Association for Criminal Justice Research and Development.
He completed his doctoral research at Trinity College Dublin, where his research was funded by a Taighde Éireann – Research Ireland Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship. He previously spent a decade working in Irish broadcasting and advertising.
